PURPOSE

PURPOSE

Project Thrive equips young people with the tools to challenge stigma and make informed choices about their bodies and relationships. Rooted in the Reproductive Justice movement, we deliver comprehensive, inclusive puberty and sexuality education - and offer curriculum for others to lead this critical work in their own communities.

Vision

Vision

A future where all young people have the knowledge, power, and support to make informed, values-aligned decisions about their bodies, relationships, and futures - grounded in justice, free from stigma, and supported by people they trust.

OUR HISTORY

Project Thrive launched in 2022 as a response to a critical and ongoing need: comprehensive, inclusive sexuality education that doesn’t just deliver facts,

but helps young people build power and navigate puberty and adolescence with confidence, dignity, and support. Rooted in the Reproductive Justice framework, our work is guided by the belief that all young people deserve access to education that reflects their lived experiences and affirms their right to make informed choices about their bodies and futures.

We’re a purpose-driven duo—curriculum developers, certified sexual health educators, and counselors—with over 20 years of collective experience in sex education across elementary, middle and high schools, college campuses, and community spaces. We’re also organizers and caregivers who know that lasting change starts with real conversations and the courage to challenge systems that fail our youth.

Since our founding, we’ve taught over 3,000 workshops, created dozens of justice-centered curricula, and built after-school programs that support self-esteem and leadership—especially among recently immigrated youth and young people pushed to the margins. We don’t just teach—we co-create spaces where young people are supported in advocating for their sexual, emotional, and physical well-being.

We work in partnership with schools, grassroots organizations, and youth-serving programs to develop trauma-informed, research-based curricula that speak directly to the needs of their communities. We are nimble, current, and unapologetically responsive—to the moment, to the movement, and most importantly, to the youth we serve.

At Project Thrive, we’re building a world where young people aren’t just informed—they are equipped, powerful, and ready to thrive.
